Vehicle Appraiser

Location: Corby

Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 6:00-14:30 (30-minute unpaid break, flexibility up to 8:00-16:30)

Pay Rate: £13.52 p/h PAYE, £15.68 p/h Umbrella

Employment Type: Long-term, Ongoing work

Igloo is looking for Vehicle Appraisers to join our client’s team in Corby. This role presents an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to join one of the UK's leading automotive companies, which has operations across the country.

The Role:

* Examine assigned vehicles to determine if safety or service work is required.

* Document all work recommended on assigned repair order.

* Conduct road test to determine work needed.

* Perform all levels of diagnosis and repair on the vehicle.

* Assist and help fellow technicians in the shop with vehicle diagnosis.

* Other ad-hoc bookings.

What kind of person we are looking for?

Successful candidates must be able to:

* Demonstrate their previous experience, knowledge and understanding of working within Vehicle Inspection.

* Have an excellent eye for detail and understand the inspection standards.

* Pick up new systems and inspection standards efficiently.

* Complete inspections within a set timeframe whilst maintaining the highest standard of inspection.

* Excellent communication skills.

* Full UK Driving Licence.
