Supply Teachers Secondary Schools

About the role:
As a Supply Teacher, you will have the flexibility to choose your working days, whether it s one day a week or a full five-day schedule. You will step into various classrooms to deliver engaging lessons, support student learning, and ensure a positive classroom environment in the absence of the regular teacher.

Essential Qualities That We Are Looking For:

• Deliver pre-set lesson plans across a range of subjects.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a productive learning environment.
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure continuity in education.
• Support students with their learning, answering questions and providing encouragement.
• Ensure a smooth and seamless transition for students during the teacher s absence.

The Successful Candidate Will:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching in secondary schools is preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to different teaching environments.

To work with GSL Education as Supply Teacher, you should:

• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
• Have an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
