Our client's key subsidiary, is currently seeking a passionate and experienced SHEQ Advisor. This role is vital in supporting their mission to “earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service.”

Key Responsibilities

* Collaborate with managers and employees to promote a culture of safe working practices across the Group.

* Provide coaching and development to influence and enhance client's safety culture through the "Work Safe | Home Safe" initiative.

* Investigate, resolve, and report on incidents, hazards, near-misses, and SHE non-conformances arising from audits or safety events.

* Conduct regular construction site visits and safety audits.

* Stay informed of new legislation and developments impacting SHEQ practices.

About You

* Qualifications: NEBOSH General/Construction Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.

* Experience: Background in managing risks within the utilities sector.

* Knowledge: Strong understanding of safety, health, and environmental requirements and related legislation.

* Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to create high-quality reports and presentations tailored to diverse audiences.

This role is home-based, with 1 day based in their Childerditch office per week, and visits to sites in South East ie South East London, Essex.
