Job Title: Food Technology Teacher - Mainstream

Location:

Manchester, M20

Job Type:

Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:00 - 3:00)

Salary:

£150 - £200 per day

Job Duties:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and informative food technology lessons to secondary school students.

Evaluate and provide constructive feedback to students regarding their performance.

Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students of all backgrounds and abilities.

Develop and implement curriculum and lesson plans to ensure students meet academic standards.

Supervise practical food preparation activities and ensure students adhere to safety guidelines.

Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.

Required Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Degree in Food Technology or related field

Experience teaching food technology at the secondary school level.

Education:

Degree in Food Technology or related field

Experience:

Teaching food technology at the secondary school level.

Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development.

Knowledge and Skills:

Thorough understanding of food technology concepts and practises.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and inspire students.

Organisational and time management abilities to effectively plan and manage lessons
