We have a great opportunity for a Project Manager working with a fit out contractor in London who specialise in the refurb / fit out of high end office and retail space along with some prestigious residential refurbishments.

The company were established 25 years ago and pride themselves on delivering projects with a hands on approach whilst providing professional structure. The projects tend to be valued between £1.5m - £2.5m.

As the project manager you will be site based spearheading the delivery of the project whilst monitoring the programme including but no limited to inserting drop lines and percentages. We require a project manager whom comes from a trade background ideally carpentry / joinery to suit the types of works that this contractor carry out.

The projects will involve dealing with high end clients that the company has worked with over a period of 20 yrs so client relationship building is key.

The ideal Project Manager must have:

Commercial / Retail / Residential Fit Out experience

Longevity in roles with some of the contractors in the industry

Major experience in carpentry / joinery

Understanding of programmes and ability to handle programming software competently

Experience successfully running fit out projects as a Project Manager on commercial projects

Interpersonal skills so you can get on with the rest of the team

SMSTS, First Aid, Fire Marshall and Black Card/NVQ Level 6 certsWhat's in it for you as the Project Manager on this project?
