Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Personal Advisor for a Local Authority Client based in Worthing.

In this role, you will support Care Leavers in their transition to adulthood by providing guidance, advocacy, and practical support to help them achieve independence and reach their personal goals.

About the role:

You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives:

• Provide support to Care Leavers (17-25), creating and implementing Pathway Plans to facilitate independent living and personal development.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external agencies, and stakeholders to ensure Care Leavers receive the services and support they need.
• Advocate for Care Leavers in meetings and support them in accessing education, employment, housing, and other services.
• Manage a caseload, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with statutory duties, safeguarding standards, and organizational policies.

About you:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

• Experience in direct work with young people facing various challenges, including crisis management and conflict resolution.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a multi-agency environment, understanding diverse roles and responsibilities.
• Skilled in conducting assessments, creating Pathway Plans, managing caseloads, and maintaining accurate, confidential records.
• Strong advocacy and negotiation experience, supporting young people in transitioning to independent living and liaising with external agencies.

What's on offer:

Salary: 17.50+ph

may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience

Contract type: 3-6, months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
