£13.15 per hour (zero hours/bank work)

Do you have experience of working with the public, including children and understand the safety responsibilities of supervising a public pool? Do you have knowledge of pool safety protocols, emergency procedures and accident prevention strategies? Are you a skilled swimmer?

If so, you could be a Lifeguard, here at Peabody, based at our Community Centre, Darwin Court.

As a Lifeguard, you'll be energetic, self-motivated and enjoy working with children and their parents but also be able to supervise our busy public swimming pool. You'll help with our swimming lessons and assist the swimming teacher in the water as well as ensuring our facilities are clean and tidy (with some administration duties as well).

You'll be working on a rota basis with early shifts starting at 8am to 2pm or late shifts starting at 1pm finishing at 8.30Ppm. You will not be required to work on Sundays or Bank Holidays!

To be a success in this role, you’re:

* A skilled swimmer.

* Able to communicate sensitively with a wide range of people and have experience of working with the public.

* Experienced in providing a great customer service.

* Flexible.

* A qualified lifeguard/or be willing to undertake the necessary training to become one.
