Job Description

A reputable healthcare provider in Bristol is seeking a qualified and experienced Band 6/7 Orthopaedic Physiotherapist to join their inpatient team on a part-time basis (3 days per week). The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within an established multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality physiotherapy care to patients with a variety of musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions.

Location: Bristol
Salary: £30-35 per hour
Start Date: February

Setting: Inpatient

Contract: 4 months (with potential to extend)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for inpatient orthopaedic patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, focusing on functional recovery and improving mobility.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care.
• Participate in discharge planning and provide education to patients and their families.
• Manage a caseload of patients with orthopaedic conditions, including pre-and post-operative cases.
• Supervise and mentor junior physiotherapists and therapy assistants as required.

Key Requirements:

• HCPC registered Physiotherapist with relevant Band 6/7 experience in orthopaedics.
• Proven experience in inpatient physiotherapy, particularly with musculoskeletal and orthopaedic cases.
• Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Available to start in February and commit to 3 days per week.
