Data Analyst - Tableau and AWS

IntaPeople are partnering with a well-known organisation seeking a Data Analyst to contribute to a long-term project starting in February.

Role: Data Analyst - Tableau and AWS

Rate: £500 per day, Inside IR35

Location: London (Occasional on-site visits)

Duration: 9 months

Overview

The Data Analyst will join the Analytics and Insights team within the Technology Infrastructure and Operations division. This role focuses on developing analytical reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights on software assets, AWS resources, and operational performance. Collaborating closely with stakeholders across the Technology division, the Data Analyst will gather requirements, analyse large datasets, and create compelling data visualisations to optimise operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Design and develop Tableau dashboards and reports for optimal user experience.

Update and enhance existing dashboards as part of a data warehouse migration.

Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into user stories or specifications.

Profile and analyse large datasets with a strong focus on data quality and accuracy.

Perform data cleansing, preparation, and modelling using DBT or AWS Athena.

Requirements

Expertise in Tableau with strong data visualisation and design skills.

Experience with Power BI is advantageous.

Proven experience working with large, complex datasets, including data profiling and cleansing.

Familiarity with IT asset management concepts is preferred.

Proficiency in SQL, Snowflake, and DBT.

Hands-on experience with AWS cloud technologies (e.g., Lambda, S3, Athena).

Strong communication skills to effectively engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
