The Role

As the Art and Design Technology Technician, you will provide essential support to the department, ensuring that lessons and practical sessions run smoothly. Your key responsibilities will include:

Preparing and maintaining materials, tools, and equipment for lessons.

Assisting teachers with the setup and organization of practical activities.

Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations in workshops and studios.

Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed.

Providing technical support to students during lessons and extracurricular activities.

Assisting with the display of students' work around the school.

About You

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic individual with a keen interest in art and design technology. You will:

Have relevant experience or qualifications in art, design technology, or a related field.

Be confident in using and maintaining tools, machinery, and equipment.

Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Be familiar with health and safety practices in an educational or workshop setting.
