Job Description

Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Shift Engineer (Mechanical Bias) for a contractual assignment based in Leeds, LS9

The shift Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment and facilities whilst ensuring the safety and efficiency of all systems within the hospital. This will include Plant Maintenance, HVAC, PPMS, plumbing, AHU etc.

Available Shifts and Location:

• Shift Pattern: 4 days then 4 off then 4 nights- Full-time position
• Location: LS9 7TF
• Shift Times: 06:00-18:00pm and 18:00PM to 06:00am
• Pay Rate: 19.83 per hour (including holiday pay), with the option to accrue additional holiday pay
• Pay Frequency: Weekly, every Friday before 5 PM
• Paid via PAYE only

Qualifications Required:

• DBS Certificate

Skills and Experience Required:

• To undertake a wide range of reactive and planned maintenance tasks and carry this to a high standard.
• To be able to provide technical guidance, assistance and information to other members of the maintenance teams
• Managing a small shift team consisting of maintenance craftsman and maintenance assistants
• Carry out maintenance, repairs, testing and inspection of building, mechanical and electrical services, associated systems, plant and equipment in accordance with relevant standards and operational procedures.
• To be able to maintain, service and repair a wide range of building services for example - Heating and domestic water services, general electrical services, Air Handling Units, Fire Alarm systems and emergency lighting, BMS, Electrical control systems,
• On occasion carry out installation work involved in minor upgrading and adaptation works
