In Physical Education, our ambition is to provide all students with the opportunity to acquire and apply knowledge of sport-specific skills, rules, safety procedures, and tactical strategies. Through the core PE curriculum, students will learn about the theory of anatomy and how the body physiologically adapts to facilitate an active and healthy lifestyle.
The PE curriculum allows students to experience a broad array of physical activities, developing both sport-specific skills and basic fundamental movements. Our rich extracurricular program runs parallel to core PE lessons to provide students with the opportunity to develop excellence in the sports of their choice. Additionally, we aim for all students to develop an appreciation for leading a healthy lifestyle and be equipped with the skills to do so.
Proactivity:
We promote a love of learning for all our students in PE, providing opportunities to discover areas of physical activity they enjoy and reflect upon their strengths.
Students are challenged to adapt to different environments, both individually and as part of a team. We expect all students to demonstrate determination and a high work ethic to perform to the best of their ability and contribute greatly to their team.
Students are encouraged to learn increasingly complex skills and apply them in competitive environments. They are also required to step outside their comfort zone to fulfil leadership roles. We want students to approach such challenges with resilience and positively. If you are ready to make a positive impact on the lives of students through Physical Education and share our commitment to fostering a love for learning and physical activity, we encourage you to apply.
