We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Cover Supervisor to join our team.

Position Overview

As an SEN Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting students with diverse needs. You will deliver pre-prepared lessons, manage classroom behavior, and ensure that every student has the opportunity to engage and succeed in their learning journey. This role requires patience, adaptability, and a genuine commitment to making a difference in students' lives.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver pre-planned lessons, ensuring they are accessible and engaging for students with SEN.

Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.

Implement effective behavior management strategies tailored to individual needs.

Provide one-on-one and small group support for students with SEN, including those with autism, ADHD, and other learning difficulties.

Collaborate with teaching staff and SENCOs to adapt lessons and resources as required.

Build strong relationships with students to encourage engagement and participation.

Maintain accurate records and provide feedback to staff on student progress.Requirements

At least 6 months of experience working with children in a school or SEN setting (preferred).

Strong understanding of SEN, including knowledge of strategies to support students with autism, ADHD, and other needs.

Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to adapt to diverse learning environments.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with students and staff.

A genuine passion for working with children with additional needs and helping them achieve their potential.Job Types
