Job Description

Our client is currently seeking a Senior Building Control Surveyor for a contract role in a London Borough. This position involves managing an area of the Borough and providing essential building control services.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the day to day management of an area of the Borough.

Process Building Regulation applications.

Inspect building works ensuring compliance with regulations.

Provide general building control advice to stakeholders.

Assist the Local Authority regarding Dangerous Structures, including out of hours work.

Deal with complex and high risk buildings.

Job Requirements:

Experience in Building Control.

Site inspections and plan assessments

Class 2F or Class 3

Understanding of Building Regulation applications and compliance.

Proficiency in inspecting building works.

Adept at providing building control advice.

Ability to manage Dangerous Structures and respond to out of hours emergencies.

Competent in handling complex and high risk buildings.

Strong organisational and management skills.
