Role Overview:
They are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of French to join our dynamic Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) department. The successful candidate will deliver an outstanding curriculum, ensuring all pupils make excellent progress in French. You will work within our MFL team to create a learning environment that develops fluency and meaningful language acquisition, preparing students for success in their language studies and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality French lessons to students across various key stages.
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
Contribute to the development of the French curriculum, ensuring it is challenging and inspiring.
Participate in extracurricular activities, including language clubs and cultural events, to enhance students' learning experiences.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the MFL department.
Qualifications and Experience:
A good Honours Degree in French or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching French at secondary level is desirable but not essential; we welcome applications from Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs).
Strong commitment to raising educational attainment for all students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
