Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Managing and delivering complex construction projects in a constrained urban environment

Conducting initial, interim, and final surveys and investigations

Completing designs, calculations, specifications, plans, drawings, estimates, reports, and bills of quantities using Computer Aided Design and other specialist software

Performing site visits to ensure compliance with specifications and programme, ensuring site safety, and reporting any concerns

Preparing, issuing, updating, and closing statutory and other notices in compliance with legal requirements

Liaising with statutory undertakers and internal departments to manage conflicts and coordinate delivery

Handling the financial and contract management of projects, emphasizing timely and budget-conscious delivery

Job Requirements:

Experience in urban highway design and active travel design

Proficient in using Computer Aided Design and other relevant software

A valid driving licence

A degree in Civil Engineering or IEng / CEng status with ICE, IHE, or CIHT
