Title – HandyMan

Salary - £32.394.92 per year, also additional rates on top of this.

Location – London

Shift Timings – Monday to Friday

Primary purpose:

We are looking for a reliable Handyperson [with a bias to painting & decorating] to undertake various tasks & repairs

Deft hands and technical knowledge are important parts of a handy persons arsenal. You must be well- organized with strong general repair skills. A keen eye for detail and physical stamina are valued greatly in this job.

Skills required :

Painting & Decorating

Proven experience as handyperson

Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, minor building works

Good communication ability

Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment

Ability to diagnose and resolve problems

Well-organized and apt in problem-solving

Attention to detail

Your main responsibilities may include:

Signing off completed Work Orders and returning Work Orders in good time to the Administration office for closing on the system

Ensure Timesheet is available on time

Ensuring at all times that work is undertaken in an effective and efficient manner and operational planning of the maintenance service is undertaken as required.

Ensure that the companies Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental policies and standards are complied with at all times. Actively promote a zero accident culture.

Available to meet the requirements of the contract.

You will be required to participate on an on call rota for which a callout allowance is paid

To supervise the service delivery to ensure that client's needs are met in accordance with contractually agreed targets and service level agreements.

To be responsible for the operational performance and rectification where required.

Liaise with all operational teams and client staff, as required.

Undertake light installation works when required

Repair equipment or appliances

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

Good Communication Skills

Customer focused approach

Able to work on own initiative

Must have a flexible and adaptive approach

Must be willing to undergo extended security clearance

Full UK Driving Licence

You will be required to participate on an on call rota for which a callout allowance is paid

Due to the nature of the work you should ideally live within a 15 mile radius of CR0 9UG (Croydon )
