Side Loader Driver / Labourer

Working in partnership with one of the Hull's most popular Timber Merchants to work in the heart of Hull. This is a fantastic opportunity for a temp to perm position within a company that offers career progression, training opportunities and great pay (from £11.44 - £13.00) with a rewarding and with huge potentials.

Shift pattern / Working hours

Monday to Friday hours between 6 am - 3:30pm

Start date / Duration

Side loader position will commence with immediate effect however, if you do have a notice period with a current employer, we will work around this. This is a temp to permanent position.

Job description

You MUST have valid Side Loader FLT License

Ideally you will have experience working in warehousing or wood manufacturing

You will be expected to assist with other general duties

Labouring duties

Feeding wood through machines

You MUST be reliable and punctual

You must be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team

Have a positive attitude to work

Be self-motivated

The successful candidate:

You will ideally have previous experience working as a side loader

Have a side loader license

You will have great communication skills, both written and verbal

Be comfortable working under own initiative with little supervision

Committed, team player with a keen eye for quality

Must be driven and want to learn about the different areas of business
