Religious Studies Teacher

Key Responsibilities:
Delivering engaging and well-planned lessons in Religious Studies to students across a range of abilities and year groups.
Encouraging critical thinking and respectful dialogue on diverse religious and ethical topics.
Designing and implementing an inclusive curriculum that meets the academic and pastoral needs of all students.
Contributing to the wider school community through extracurricular activities, assemblies, and events.
Maintaining high standards of teaching, learning, and professional development.Ideal Candidate Profile:
A degree in Religious Studies or a related discipline, with PGCE, GTTP, School Direct, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Proven experience teaching Religious Studies, with a strong understanding of the subject’s academic and cultural significance.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire and engage young minds.
A commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful learning environment.
Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to adapt teaching strategies to suit diverse learning needs.
