Job Title: Power BI Specialist
Day Rate: £300-£450 per day (inside IR35)
Location: South England (Remote working supported)
Contract: 2 Months Initially
Overview:
A local authority’s Children’s Services is seeking a talented and experienced Power BI Developer to join their Performance Team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality analytics and insights with a particular emphasis on Education and Skills. Your work will shape the strategic direction of the organisation and enhance their ability to make informed decisions based on accurate data.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, Model, and Deliver Analytics: Use Power BI to create and deploy impactful reports and dashboards that meet user needs and are easy to navigate.
Customer-Centric Solutions: Ensure products are intuitive, accessible, and readily adopted by stakeholders.
Enhance Reporting Capabilities: Support the team’s development in data analysis and reporting, leveraging tools such as SQL Server, SSMS, SSIS, SSRS, Power BI, Azure, and Microsoft Office.
Drive Data-Driven Decisions: Produce accurate, reliable, and actionable reports to support Children’s Services in monitoring outcomes, understanding needs, and improving efficiencies.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role, with a strong focus on data visualisation and analytics.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in SQL Server, SSMS, SSIS, SSRS, Power BI, Azure, and Microsoft Office products.
Sector Knowledge: Solid understanding of Children’s Services, particularly Education and Skills.
Analytical Skills: Strong technical and data analysis capabilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Team Player: Confident working independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Additional Advantages: Familiarity with Synergy, SCM, and other data visualisation tools.
