IT Deployment Engineer (Solihull)

My client is a leading IT Consultancy based in Stoke-on-Trent that are working on a Windows 11 Rollout Project for one of their Law firm clients based in Solihull. They're looking for an experienced IT Deployment Engineer to join them on an initial 4-month contract to rollout the new software and provide after care support.

IT Deployment Engineer (Windows0

£170/day

4 months (initial contract)

Solihull office (on-site)

Monday - Friday

Tasks Include:

Assisting with IT hardware & peripheral support.

Configuration of hardware (laptops, desktops and mobile phones)

Contribute to ongoing and new IT Projects in the UK and Europe

Office IT hardware refreshes

Software and application support

Network support / Server support

Cloud solutions, office 365 management

IT Logistics and transportation

Technical Specifications:

Network configuration experience

Windows OS knowledge, experience with deployment

Understanding of concepts such as WAN, LAN, Servers, Intranet, TCP/IP, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure

Office 365 support experience (Azure, exchange, SharePoint, Office Suite)

Be able to demonstrate the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot IT issues

Understanding of AV software support and remote connection tools

Knowledge of hardware imaging from pixie booting and bootable devices
