Job Description

We are seeking an experienced freelance "Site Agent" to join a leading civil engineering firm for a flexible, ongoing contract role!

You’ll have the opportunity to work with a great team, within a company that truly values its people. This is a flexible, project-based freelance position that allows for autonomy while working with a reputable and established firm.

The firm has recently secured additional work as part of a four-year £750 million contract with the UK MOD's Submarine Delivery Agency (SDA), focusing on building the infrastructure to support and sustain the UK’s submarine fleet for decades.

Projects range from £500k to £30m in value and will include:

Large Civil Engineering Structures

Concrete Repairs & Maintenance

Marine-based Civils Contracts Key Responsibilities: As a Freelance Site Agent, you will manage projects from award to handover. Key duties include:

Managing site teams – Engineers, Foremen, and Quantity Surveyors

Overseeing specialist subcontractors

Short-term project planning

Leading client progress meetings

Engineering and design coordination

Managing Health & Safety on-site
