Nursery Teaching Assistant - 3 days a week

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and nurturing primary school in Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment and make a meaningful impact on the early development of Nursery-aged children.

Key Responsibilities:

Support Nursery-aged/Early Years children in their educational and developmental activities.

Assist the class teacher in delivering a stimulating and engaging curriculum.

Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.

Provide one-to-one and small group support to children where needed.

Help manage classroom resources and ensure they are used effectively.

Observe and document children's progress to contribute to assessments.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with Nursery-aged or Early Years children in an educational setting is essential.

A valid DBS certificate (Disclosure and Barring Service).

Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A genuine passion for supporting children's early education and development
