As the School Food Technician for this charming secondary school, you would be expected to support Food Tech Teachers within their lessons, covering KS3 – KS4, as well as preparing for these lessons and ensuring each classroom is a safe & clean.

As well as being on top of health & safety, as a School Food Technician you would also be expected to take responsibility for the stock of the department, and to ensure all equipment and utensils are in working order.

School Food Technician – The role: 

Support Food Technology lessons

Work with students across KS3 & KS4 lessons

Ensure the safe learning of students

Health and safety compliance

Responsible for stock management of department

Contribute to the Food Technology department

School Food Technician – Qualifications / experience required: 

Qualified in Food Preparation and Safety

Degree level of education or Level 3 certificates

Strong communication skills – written and verbal

Can work individually and as part of a team

Up to date DBS check
