Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for an Electrical Site Technician to begin work for a well-established company in the Deeside area.

About the Role:

* Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

* Pay Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience

* Brief Role Description:

* Install, test, and maintain electrical systems and equipment according to specifications and regulations.

* Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical installations.

* Execute electrical wiring for lighting, power distribution, and control systems.

* Ensure all wiring meets safety standards and local regulations.

* Conduct tests on electrical systems to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.

* Diagnose and rectify any electrical faults in a timely manner using testing equipment to identify problems and implement effective solutions.

* Maintain accurate records of work performed, including installation details and maintenance logs.

* Complete necessary documentation for compliance with health and safety regulations.

* Adhere to all health and safety regulations on-site, including risk assessments and safe working practices.

* Ensure electrical work complies with the latest wiring regulations (e.g., IET Wiring Regulations, BS 7671).

* Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure project completion on time and within budget.

* Participate in site meetings to discuss project progress and address any issues.

About You:

* High work ethic & team player

* Punctual & reliable

* You must be a time-served/qualified Electrical Technician

* ECS Card (Electrotechnical Certification Scheme) preferred but not essential

* Additional Qualifications:

* Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation (e.g., City & Guilds 2365, NVQ Level 3)

* HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or a related field (preferred)

* 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) certification

* Certification in inspection and testing (e.g., City & Guilds 2391) beneficial

* 2–5 years of relevant work experience in electrical installations, maintenance, or construction

* Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of site safety protocols
