My client, a UK based Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Hydrology and Infrastructure Engineering, is searching for a Senior Flood Risk Assessor to join a Consultancy for a contract.

This exciting opportunity will offer you the chance to be trained by a friendly team of Engineers to complete Flood Risk Assessments for flood zones 1,2 and 3, Surface Water Management Plans and Drainage Strategies.

This exciting role offers a competitive contract salary and flexible work.

Candidates are required to have a HNC and/or BSc, MSc and/or PhD in a relevant subject (e.g. Hydrology, Environmental Management or Civil Engineering) and have experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments.

Candidates are required to have a keen interest in flood risk and drainage and have the confidence to liaise with clients to discuss project development and issues.

It is also beneficial for you to have a valid UK licence to visit flood risk sites across the South East.
