Job Title: Year 2 Class Teacher

Location: London Borough of Islington

Start Date: February 2025

Contract: Fixed-term until July 2025

Pay Rate: MPS 1-6 - £190 -£257 p/day PAYE (ECTs welcome to apply)

Hours: Monday to Friday, Full-Time

PRIMARY TEACHER - KS1 - YEAR 2

About the Role:

SANZA Teaching Agency is proud to work on behalf of an Outstanding Primary School in the London Borough of Islington to recruit a passionate and dedicated Year 2 Class Teacher. This is a full-time, fixed-term role starting in February 2025 and running until the end of the academic year in July 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach and inspire a Year 2 class, ensuring all planning, preparation, recording, assessment, and reporting meets the diverse learning and social needs of pupils.

Uphold the school's positive ethos and core values both inside and outside the classroom.

Foster constructive collaboration with teaching and non-teaching staff, parents, and governors to support pupils' success.

Adhere to the current national conditions of employment for schoolteachers.About You:

We are looking for a talented and committed teacher who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate young learners.

Has a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
