Job Description

SC cleared Scrum Master with Data Platform project experience (Quantexa and / or Databricks) - Remote with occasional trips to Newcastle - £(Apply online only) per day outside IR35 - 3 months rolling

Are you a Scrum Master holding an active SC clearance who has worked for central government and has prior data platform project experience, if so apply now for a rapid turnaound - aiming for a 23/1/2025 start date.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies:

Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives.

Ensure that meetings are time-boxed, focused, and productive.

Support the Scrum Team:

Remove impediments that may hinder the team's progress.

Encourage collaboration, self-organization, and accountability within the team.

Promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Ensure Adherence to Scrum Practices:

Guide the team in understanding and adhering to Scrum principles and values.

Assist in the development and maintenance of the product backlog with the Product Owner.

Coach the team on Agile best practices, Scrum roles, and responsibilities.

Monitor and Report Progress:

Track and communicate the team's progress, ensuring alignment with goals and deadlines.

Help the team stay focused on the sprint goals and ensure timely delivery of deliverables.

Measure and report team velocity and other key performance indicators (KPIs).

Stakeholder Management:

Act as a liaison between the development team and other stakeholders.

Communicate with management and external teams to ensure alignment and transparency.
