The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity to join a global Chemical Group working with the UK Fixed Cost Accountant and associated Teams.
This role has been deemed inside IR35 / PAYE
Duration: Estimated 10 months.

Your duties and responsibilities will be
As an Accounts Assistant, you will assist with processing, recording and reporting financial transactions for UK businesses.
This involves raising a significant volume of sundry sales invoices for inter-company services, hosted payroll and managed estates. All invoices must be raised, and accounting tasks completed, accurately and according to our monthly timetable.
Ensure that all fixed cost recharge invoices are raised accurately and on time.
Ensure that all Estates invoices are raised accurately and on time.
Work with the UK Fixed Cost Accountant in reviewing processes to identify efficiency improvements and to minimise the volume of sundry sales.
Liaise with the UK Fixed Cost Accountant on a daily basis to ensure all fixed cost tasks are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
Assist the Financial and Business Controlling teams with ad hoc accounting and reporting tasks as and when required. You will have the following qualifications & experience
Preferably educated to A-Level, but must have a good standard of secondary education GCSE Grade 5 or above (equivalent to GCSE C Grades).
Experience in a similar role is preferred.
Proficient working with accounting software; ideally with experience of SAP R3.
Good interpersonal and communication skills are required as the role will involve contact with finance and non-financial personnel at differing levels within the company.
Must be highly organised and able to meet deadlines.
Must have attention to detail and be focused on the accuracy of the work produced.
Good analytical skills are required to identify areas of improvement within the fixed cost reporting.It’s great if you also have the following
ideally with experience of SAP R3.The setting for the role
Risks and Hazards are in line with working on a chemical site. These can include, chemical burns, trips and falls, overexertion, cuts and scrapes, chemical exposure, inhalation of chemicals and confined spaces. A full site induction will be provided and all safety requirements must be adhered to when entering the site.
