Teaching Assistant (Daily Supply)

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will work on a part-time, ongoing basis in a variety of primary schools, including both Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2) classrooms. About the Role: Supply TA:
• Assist teachers in delivering high-quality education and supporting students’ learning across KS1 and KS2.
• Work closely with children to help them engage with their lessons, focusing on both academic and emotional support.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require extra assistance, particularly those with SEN (Special Educational Needs).
• Be proactive in ensuring the classroom is a safe, stimulating, and welcoming space for all children.• Follow lesson plans provided by teachers, maintaining consistency and a smooth classroom environment.• Ensure that children are supported in their individual learning needs, fostering a positive, encouraging atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:
Supply Teaching Assistant:• Support children with SEN, including those with Autism, ADHD, and other learning needs.• Assist teachers in delivering lessons, providing feedback, and supporting behaviour management.• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the best outcomes for all students.• Support children’s social and emotional development, promoting positive behaviour and engagement.
Application Requirements:• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally in a primary school setting.• Experience working with children with SEN is preferred.• A passion for supporting young learners and a desire to help them succeed.• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.• Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
