Job Description

We are currently looking for experienced and qualified Family support workers for a ASAP start.

This will be within the Education and Commissioning division

The role is full time role Monday to Friday 9am-5pm however, there maybe times the successful candidate will have to show flexibility.

Job Purpose

To be the named person to whom parents, pupils and other agencies are referred when seeking advice on Elective Home Education and the parental delivery of a 'suitable education' to their home educated children.

To ensure prompt and relevant enquiries are made at the point of referral, and during the course of regular contacts, to ensure that home educated children are appropriately safeguarded in respect of their well being and future outcomes.

Qualification required:

Qualified Teacher status, Degree in Education, Social Work or CQSW.Committed to maintaining high knowledge and skills levels in appropriate areas and developing further knowledge and expertise.
