Classroom Support are excited to be working with a Secondary school in Islington who are looking to recruit several experienced Teaching Assistants required to start as soon as possible.

The school have a SEND Provision to support students with SEMH and Behavioural Issues.

The role is Monday to Friday, 8:30-3:30 in Term Time only.

It is essential that you have some of the below experience:

* Experience of supporting children/young adults with challenging behaviour

* A keen understanding of being able to create bonds with students that have had challenging backgrounds and to be able to quickly build trus

* Worked within a Pupil Referral Unit

* Experience supporting students within SEN school’s or candidates with a mental health support/young offender’s background would be strong candidates

* Being of a firm nature when necessary

* Solid knowledge and experience supporting students with SEMH in 1:1 or group settings is also advantageous
