Data Governance Manager

Onsite Nottingham 3 days a week/ Hybrid

Initial 6-month rolling contract / inside IR35

£450 - £500

My client who is a world leading technology organisation are recruiting for a Data Governance Manager.

You will be responsible for:

Establish hierarchies and lead the implementation of a business-wide Data Governance framework for your main data domains, with clear timelines, milestones, and deliverables

Support the personal development of the Data Governance Specialist roles through clear direction, training and feedback

Maintain the centralised data inventory to ensure the business rules, standards and procedures for your department are up to date

Essential skills…

You will have an extensive background in data governance, preferably be certified (DAMA, CDMP, EDM Council)

Knowledge and exposure of data protection, audit and policy principles

Ideally have working experience in an Omni-channel environment.

You will be able to build and maintain collaborative relationships across the business and IT

You will be able to explain complex data issues to technical and non-technical partner.
