Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and dynamic Computer Science lessons to students at Key Stages 3 and 4, adhering to the national curriculum.

Create well-structured lesson plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of all learners.

Assess student progress through regular tests, assignments, and projects, providing constructive feedback to encourage improvement.

Stay up to date with advancements in technology and incorporate innovative methods into your teaching.

Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues, sharing updates on student progress and achievements.

Participate in wider school activities, collaborating with staff to support both student development and school initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.

Experience teaching Computer Science at the secondary school level, particularly at KS3 and KS4.

A thorough understanding of the national curriculum, with the ability to design engaging and challenging lessons.

Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

A commitment to continuous professional development and teaching excellence.

A valid Enhanced DBS check and up-to-date professional references.
