Hourly Rate: £15 - £20 per hour (Dependent on experience)

Hunter AHP Resourcing is looking for a reliable and dedicated Locum ACT Pharmacy Technician to join an NHS hospital team in Newcastle!

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and support the dispensing of medications in the hospital

Assist with the preparation and distribution of prescriptions to patients and clinical teams

Lead and manage a team of pharmacy assistants and junior technicians

Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulations

Work collaboratively with clinical teams to ensure effective and safe medicine management

Provide advice to healthcare professionals on pharmaceutical matters

Requirements:

Must be a qualified Pharmacy Technician, registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)

Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) qualification is essential

Previous experience working in an NHS hospital or clinical environment

Full-time availability (Monday to Friday)

Strong communication and organisational skills

Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
