Hourly Rate: £15 - £20 per hour (Dependent on experience)

Hunter AHP Resourcing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum ACT Pharmacy Technician to join the pharmacy team at an NHS hospital in Surrey! The contract is ongoing, applicants must possess an ACT qualificatiion with full-time availability.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the dispensing and checking of medications in the hospital pharmacy

Oversee the preparation and distribution of prescriptions to patients and clinical teams

Provide accurate and timely medicines advice to healthcare professionals

Ensure all dispensing and checking activities comply with relevant regulations and standards

Supervise and mentor junior pharmacy staff, including pharmacy assistants and technicians

Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimise medication management across the hospital

Requirements:

Must be a qualified Pharmacy Technician, registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)

Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) qualification is essential

Previous experience working in an NHS hospital or clinical environment

Full-time availability (Monday to Friday)

Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
