Contract Mechanical Design Engineer
Platform Recruitment has partnered with a manufacturer specialising in the development of bespoke special purpose machinery. We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join on a contract basis as soon as possible.
Overview:
* Rate: Negotiable
* Start date: Immediate
* Length: Initial 3 months
* Location: Cambridge - Onsite
* IR35 Status: Small company exemption
Requirements:
* Hands-on experience managing end-to-end product development
* Strong 3D CAD skills (Solidworks)
* Produce manufacturing drawings
* Experienced in designing special purpose machinery/capital equipment
* Knowledge of fabrication, machining and assembly techniques
