Fantastic Opportunity for experienced Criminal Justice social worker within a Children and Families Team in the Argyll and Bute areas - Full time opportunity available on a temporary contract basis - Locum Postion for 3 months starrting Feb 2025
The contract on offer is for approximately 3 months starting from 13th January and it is a full time position
Qualifications and experience:
It is desireable to have experience of working within the Justice System and be LC/SMI and SA07 Trained.
Degree in Social Work is required and it is also desirable to have postqualied training in Practice teaching or MSC in in Criminal Justice.
Significant breadth and depth of post-qualifying experience in social work assessment and case management required.
Good knowledge of community peyback or Prison based social work
Experience of working with high risk offenders
Driving licence is also essentialJob details:
Post holder is required to travel throughout Argyll and Bute and beyond to meet the needs of the service
compile risk assessments and assess risk on an ongoing basis - Pass Non-Police Personnel Vetting (NPPV) at Level 2 or 3 as required, in order to access Police databases.
- You also need to be able to work outside office hours when required and work some weekends as part of a 5 day over 7 contract
