The Role

As a Setting Out Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the precise execution of works on this 12-month project. Your skills in setting out, surveying, and quality control will be essential to maintaining the highest standards of construction and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Accurately set out and level works in line with project requirements.

* Perform surveys and maintain detailed, accurate site records.

* Interpret technical drawings and provide setting out solutions.

* Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and design teams to resolve technical queries.

* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

* Prepare as-built documentation and assist with quality assurance processes.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in setting out on civil engineering projects (experience in water or infrastructure projects is highly desirable).

* Proficient in using modern setting out equipment such as total stations, GPS, and laser levels.

* A relevant qualification in Civil Engineering (HNC, HND, or Degree).

* Valid CSCS card.

* Strong understanding of construction processes and technical drawings.

* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
