Hunter AHP Resourcing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum ACT Pharmacy Technician to join the pharmacy team at an NHS hospital in Surrey! The contract is ongoing, applicants must possess an ACT qualificatiion with full-time availability.

• Lead and manage the dispensing and checking of medications in the hospital pharmacy
• Oversee the preparation and distribution of prescriptions to patients and clinical teams
• Provide accurate and timely medicines advice to healthcare professionals
• Ensure all dispensing and checking activities comply with relevant regulations and standards
• Supervise and mentor junior pharmacy staff, including pharmacy assistants and technicians
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimise medication management across the hospital

• Must be a qualified Pharmacy Technician, registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
• Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) qualification is essential
• Previous experience working in an NHS hospital or clinical environment
• Full-time availability (Monday to Friday)
• Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Competitive hourly rate (£15 - £20 per hour depending on experience)
• Ongoing contract with the potential for extension
• Full-time hours with no weekend or night shifts
