PTS Site Engineer

Location - Bristol

Rate - £350 per day CIS

My client a Tier 1 contractor based in Bristol, is currently looking for a Site Engineer with a Rope Access competency and PTS to work on the site on a long term contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Supervising multiple soil nail projects across Bristol area.
• Ensuring installation of soil nail works are completed according to design.
• Setting out nail anchor locations using GS18 Leica equipment and by rope access where required.
• Monitoring installation works and reporting technical queries on site back to designers.

Requirements:

• Must have valid Personal Track Safety (PTS) rail competence
• Must have a valid Rope Access cert.
• Must have a RD8000 CAT and Genny ticket
• The candidate has to be fluent with setting out using GPS/ Total Station/ levelling (dumpy level, laser) etc.
• Experience as a Site Engineer role within rail projects.
• Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, specifications, and setting out techniques.
