Freelance Site Manager (Internal Packages) x2

Start: 3rd Feb 2025

Duration: 40-44 weeks

Location: Manchester

On behalf of one of my long-term clients, I am looking for two Freelance Site Managers with experience running internal packages on high-rise city centre schemes, ideally for a tier 1 or large main contractor. This is a prestigious, 3 block high-rise development in the centre of Manchester.

THE ROLE

• Work closely with Project Manager and Project Director

• Coordinate and Deliver fit-out and internal packages to a high quality

• Ensure quality and delivery meets client and contractor specification

• Develop and manage schedules for the internal fit-out works

• Ensuring all activities align with the project timeline and milestones

• Supervising and coordinating subcontractors across multiple fit-out trades

• Ensure standards are met and addressing any issues promptly.

• Overseeing workmanship and carrying out inspections to ensure the highest quality finishes

• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and complies with HSE/contractors regulations

• Monitoring / coordinating the delivery and usage of materials to prevent delays / wastage

THE CANDIDATE:

• Extensive experience in managing internal fit-out packages on major projects

• A strong background working with Tier 1 contractors and delivering to tight programmes.

• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications (essential).

• Exceptional organisational skills with a sharp eye for detail.

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities to drive performance across the site.

• Experience in managing a high volume of trades in a complex, urban project environment
