Job Advertisement: Care Assistant - Llandovery

Location: Llandovery, SA20
Position: Care Assistant (Temporary)
Hourly Rate: 12.50 per hour
Hours: 44 hours per week
Shifts: AM, PM, or Night shifts available

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants in Llandovery. This would be working through agency on a temporary basis, though their could be the optionto go permanent in the future. You'll play a vital role in supporting our elderly residents with a high standard of care in a friendly and caring environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Supporting with mobility and ensuring safety at all times
• Administering medication as directed by the nursing team
• Assisting with daily activities and promoting social engagement
• Developing positive, respectful relationships with residents, their families, and your colleagues

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a care role is preferred but not essential
• A caring and empathetic nature with a passion for supporting elderly individuals
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• A commitment to providing excellent, respectful care
• Flexibility to work 44 hours per week across AM, PM, or Night shifts
