Fleet Compliance Administrator (6-Month FTC)
Salary: Pro-rata £32,900 per annum
Contract: 6-Month Fixed Term (potential to extend or become permanent)
Hours: Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays
Shift: 06:00–17:00 (Flexed, 9 hours per day with a 30-minute break)

Role Overview
A leading foodservice and wholesale distribution operation is looking for a Fleet Compliance Administrator to join their team on a six-month fixed-term contract. This position has the potential to be extended or become permanent, depending on performance and business requirements. The primary focus of this role is to ensure all fleet vehicles meet legal requirements, to organize and track servicing, and to maintain accurate records for compliance purposes. You will be working in a busy environment with a structured but flexible schedule.
Key Responsibilities
* Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and maintain compliance with relevant transport legislation and industry regulations, including maintaining accurate vehicle documentation.
* Fleet Servicing Coordination: Organize and schedule routine services, inspections, and MOTs to keep the fleet operational and compliant.
* Document Management: Verify all compliance-related paperwork, ensuring records are both up-to-date and properly filed.
* Systems & Data Entry: Update internal databases and fleet management tools to capture servicing schedules, maintenance histories, and compliance data.
* Service Provider Liaison: Communicate with third-party service providers to schedule and oversee vehicle maintenance and repairs.
* Compliance Reporting: Track, report, and escalate any incidents or issues that may affect compliance, and support audits as needed.
What We’re Looking For
* Previous Experience: Background in fleet administration, logistics, or a similar compliance-oriented role—ideally in transportation or food distribution.
* Knowledge Base: Familiarity with transport regulations, including Operator Licence requirements, DVSA standards, and industry best practices.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in using fleet management or compliance software to organize data and streamline operations.
* Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy in processing documentation.
* Communication: Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across different teams and external providers.
* Flexibility: Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift, and occasional Saturday work is required.
