Supply Desk are seeking outreach support workers for a Special Educational Needs School in Portsmouth

Starting from February 2025

Hours: Part-time mornings only 8:30 – 12:30

Pay: up to £13 per hour

Job Description:

Desire to work throughout Key stage 2 and 3

Desire to support children with SEMH needs

Supporting a child with entry level Math and English

To bring children to school if needed

Be able to support children with the work provided

Liaise closely with parents and guardians

Location: Close to central Portsmouth

Start Date: February 2025

Contract Length: Short term Feb 2025- July 2025

Hours: 20 per week. Mornings only

Individual Profile:

A nurturing and caring nature

GCSE Maths and English to A- C grade

Experience of working with additional needs (desirable)

Passionate, enthusiastic and resilient individual

Adaptable and sensitive when dealing with challenging situations

First Aid trained or be willing to be trained

Have access to your own car with a clean driving license and ability to have business insurance- travel costs are covered
