Media and Criminology Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a part time Media and Criminology Teacher based in Beverley, starting 24th January and lasting until at least Easter but potentially to the end of the academic year. This is a temporary position to cover a period of absence, so the exact length of absence is difficult to determine. Payment for this position will be scaled to the main teaching pay scale, between 31,650 and 49084. This scales to a daily rate of 162.31 to 251.71. This is a part time position, 0.8 timetable over 5 days. The working days would be a full day Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday PM and Friday AM.

This role will involve teaching Media and Criminology to A Level students, and there is no Key Stage 3 or 4 teaching on this timetable, suiting an A Level or Post 16 specialist. While these two specialism are not linked, we would be happy to accept applications from a specialist in one of these areas, if the applicant candidate would be happy to provide cover for the other areas.

Located just outside of Hull, this school is easily accessible from different parts of Hull via Bus, and has a large onsite car park for candidates who drive. The school is part of a small, local academy chain that has a largeamount of resources available on file, meaning that the amount of planning needed for this role will be extremely minimal.

• Have experience working within schools in the UK.
• Has experience supporting within UK schools
• Has experience teaching Media or Criminology to Key Stage 5 students
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• CV must cover the full CV History
• Legal right to work in the UK
