SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity - February start

Salary: 90 - 100 per day (based on experience)

A welcoming secondary school in Islington is searching for an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from February, with trial days to take place ASAP. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and group support for students with SEN, helping them achieve their learning goals.
• Promote a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and growth.
• Work alongside teachers and the SEN Coordinator to implement personalised support plans.
• Build positive, encouraging relationships with students, staff, and families.
• Support students' academic, social, and emotional development.

Requirements:

• Experience in a similar role with young people is required.
• A genuine passion for supporting SEN students and aiding their development.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Patient, adaptable, and positive approach to student learning.
