Job Title: Secondary School Cover Supervisor
Location: Coventry
Pay Rate: £85 - £100 per day

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a secondary school in Coventry. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes in the absence of the usual teacher, ensuring that students remain on task and follow the set work. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication skills and a passion for supporting young people in their learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support students in the classroom during lessons
• Ensure students are engaged with set work and manage behaviour in accordance with school policies
• Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour
• Handle administrative duties related to the lesson plan and student activities
• Assist students with any additional support they may need

Essential Requirements:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively
• A flexible and proactive approach to work
• A passion for working with young people
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
