Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Electrical Supervisor to oversee the electrical installation and commissioning on a large-scale commercial construction project. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of electricians, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and in compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all electrical work on-site for a commercial construction project.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of electricians, ensuring tasks are performed according to project specifications and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards, codes, and regulations.
• Monitor the quality of work and conduct inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards and project requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project progress.
• Maintain and enforce proper documentation, including work schedules, inspections, and material requisitions.
• Ensure that electrical systems are tested, installed, and commissioned according to design specifications.
• Monitor and control project costs, tracking labor and material usage to stay within budget.
• Provide on-the-job training and development opportunities for team members.

Supervisor Requirements:

• Gold ECS card
• SSSTS / SMSTS
• Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor or similar role in commercial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Experience in managing and supervising electrical installation teams.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve technical issues quickly.
• Valid electrical trade qualification and relevant certifications.
• Previous experience working on large commercial or industrial projects is highly desirable.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
