EYFS/Primary SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Grantham
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £83.33 - £95.00 per day

Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? GSL Education is looking for a committed and compassionate EYFS/Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive SEN school in Grantham.

This is a full-time position, initially temporary, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. We re looking for someone who can start as soon as possible and is ready to make a real difference in the lives of children with diverse and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated support to children in the EYFS and Primary phase with SEN.
• Collaborate with the class teacher to deliver tailored learning plans.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
• Assist with personal care (if required) and encourage independence.
• Offer one-on-one or small group support and help manage the classroom.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children with SEN, ideally in an EYFS or Primary setting.
• A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to supporting children s learning and development.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A strong commitment to creating a safe and nurturing learning environment.
• An enhanced DBS check on the update service (or a willingness to obtain one).

This role requires a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful applicants must meet all safer recruitment checks, including a relevant enhanced DBS.
